Our applications are privately developed and are not affiliated with any healthcare providers, medical institutions, or insurance companies unless explicitly stated.

Automatically Collected Information: We may collect device information (device type, operating system version), anonymized usage data, and crash/performance data to improve app functionality.

We use collected information solely to provide and improve the functionality of our applications, including: storing and syncing your data, delivering notifications and reminders, responding to support inquiries, and analyzing anonymized usage data to enhance user experience.

2.1 Proteus — Personal Health Optimization App

About Proteus

Proteus is a personal health optimization app that aggregates data from multiple sources to give users a unified view of their health metrics. Proteus helps users track sleep quality, monitor cardiovascular training, aggregate exercise data, and correlate lifestyle interventions with health outcomes.

Third-Party Health Data Integrations

Proteus integrates with third-party health platforms to import your health data. Currently supported integrations include:

Garmin Connect: Sleep stages, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), activity/exercise data, steps, and stress metrics.

Apple Health: Activity, sleep, heart rate, and other health metrics available through HealthKit.

CGM Devices: Continuous glucose monitoring data from compatible devices and platforms.

How We Handle Third-Party Health Data

Read-Only Access: Proteus only reads data from connected platforms. We do not write, modify, or delete data on third-party platforms.

User-Initiated Connection: You must explicitly authorize each integration. You can disconnect any integration at any time through the app settings.

Data Storage: Health data imported from third-party platforms is stored on-device or in your private cloud storage (depending on your settings). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, share, or transfer your health data to any third parties for marketing, advertising, research, or any other purpose.

Data Minimization: We only import the specific data categories necessary for Proteus functionality. We do not access or store data beyond what is needed for the features you use.

Your Control Over Health Data

You maintain full control over your health data in Proteus:

Connect/Disconnect: Connect or disconnect third-party integrations at any time.

Delete Data: Delete all imported health data from within the app.

Export Data: Export your data in standard formats.

Account Deletion: Request complete account and data deletion by contacting us.

Additional Data Collected by Proteus

In addition to imported health data, Proteus may collect:

User-Entered Data: Supplements, medications, lifestyle interventions, notes, and goals you manually enter.

App Usage Data: Anonymized analytics to improve app performance.

Device Information: Device type and OS version for compatibility purposes.

2.2 Tolerance Tracker & Tolerance Tracker 2 — Allergy Treatment Tracking Apps

About Tolerance Tracker

Tolerance Tracker and Tolerance Tracker 2 are mobile applications designed to help users manage and track daily intake of items related to structured allergy treatment plans. These apps are independently developed and are not affiliated with the Food Allergy Institute or any healthcare provider.

Data Collected

User-Provided Data: Cycle details, item details (medicine, maintenance food, treatment food, recommended food), daily intake logs, room codes, user preferences, and photo documentation.

Automatically Collected Data: Device information, anonymized usage data, and crash reports.

Important: We strongly recommend using nicknames or initials instead of full names and avoiding entry of sensitive health information.

No Health Framework Data Collection

Tolerance Tracker does not collect or process health data as defined by Apple’s HealthKit, Google Health Connect, or HIPAA. All data entered is treated as general user input. The developer is not a covered entity under HIPAA, and these apps are not intended to serve as medical records.

Data Storage

Data is stored in Google Firebase, encrypted in transit and at rest. Data syncs in real time for shared rooms. Inactive cycle data may be deleted after 12 months.

Room Code Sharing

When you share a room code, other users gain access to the associated cycle plan and logs. Share room codes only with trusted individuals. You are responsible for managing access.

Terms/User Agreement

Welcome to Tolerance Tracker and Tolerance Tracker 2, mobile apps created to help individuals and families track allergy treatment-related routines. Please read this User Agreement carefully before using the apps. By using Tolerance Tracker or Tolerance Tracker 2, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Independent Apps – No Affiliation Tolerance Tracker and Tolerance Tracker 2 are privately developed apps created by a parent of a participant in the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP) by the Food Allergy Institute. These apps are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Food Allergy Institute or any healthcare provider. They are voluntary tools intended to help users manage allergy treatment tasks at home.

2. Voluntary Use & No Medical Advice Tolerance Tracker and Tolerance Tracker 2 are not medical devices or diagnostic tools. They do not provide medical advice, determine dosages, or replace professional medical judgment. Users should consult their healthcare provider for medical decisions. Use of the apps is entirely voluntary and should supplement—not replace—your provider's instructions.

3. Acceptable Use & User Responsibility You agree to:

Use initials or nicknames instead of full names or sensitive identifiers.

Avoid entering protected health information (e.g., diagnoses, provider names).

Share room codes only with trusted individuals.

Ensure minors using the apps have parental supervision and consent.

You are responsible for all content entered under your room code and for safeguarding access.

4. Data Collection & Privacy We collect minimal data necessary to provide core functionality, such as:

Cycle details, item logs, and reminder settings.

Photo documentation (e.g., reaction logging photos, profile pictures).

Anonymized usage and crash data.

Device data (e.g., type, OS version, Firebase ID).

We do not collect health data under Apple's HealthKit, Google Health Connect, or HIPAA regulations. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Account Roles and Permissions Full Access users can create/edit cycles, manage users, and share room codes. Log-Only users can view and log items but cannot modify the plan or share access.

Roles are assigned automatically based on how a user joins the app.

6. Data Sync & Retention All data is stored securely in Google Firebase, encrypted in transit and at rest. Data syncs in real time across devices for shared rooms. Logs reset at midnight each day.

We retain data for as long as needed to support active use. Inactive cycles may be deleted after 12 months. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Limitation of Liability We make no guarantees of error-free operation. The developer is not liable for:

Missed reminders or incorrect entries.

App errors or display of incorrect information.

Shared room codes leading to unauthorized access.

Data loss or breaches beyond our control.

You accept all risks associated with using the apps.

8. Children's Use The apps are not intended for children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has entered personal data without authorization, please contact us for deletion.

9. App Features Overview Tolerance Tracker and Tolerance Tracker 2 include:

Cycle setup and week-based tracking.

Item logging across four categories (Medicine, Maintenance Food, Treatment Food, Recommended Food).

Photo documentation for reaction logging.

15-minute treatment timers with notifications.

Real-time sync for shared access.

History view and editing.

Reminder and notification settings.

Permissions control for Full vs. Log-Only users.

10. Changes to This Agreement We may update this agreement to reflect app changes or legal updates. We will notify you via in-app alerts or our website.

SMS/Text Message Terms

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Tolerance Tracker (operated by Z2 Solutions). These messages may include account notifications, reminders, and support communications.

Message frequency varies based on your app activity and settings. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you re-enroll.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
